StarTwo minutes into the video call, and we were already laughing.
Amal Babar, Ed.D told me I needed to meet Aaron Pettway. She doesn't hand out recommendations lightly, so I showed up curious.
We started with Apple Chicken breakfast sausage. Somehow that turned into Bernard Pivot's questions from Inside the Actor's Studio. I'll drop both below because you'll want them too.
Then we got to business, and that's when it got interesting.
Aaron's company runs on the same rule mine does: the client wins first, then we win. Not after. Before.
I pulled up our energy savings calculator and showed him how we find money hiding in a building's utility bill. He walked me through how his team keeps more profit in his clients' pockets, the same way.
Same mission, different lane. That's a good afternoon.
We're meeting again soon. Grateful to Dr. Amal Babar for the introduction, and to Aaron Pettway for turning an hour meeting into something that felt like twenty minutes.
